happy new year (almost)

I don't seem to be getting the hang of using this site. Most of my content is reblogged on tumblr. For the new year my resolution is to figure out how to effectively blog on here and pillowfort. A silly resolution, but it seems achievable.

I've been pretty depressed this month. Too much stress and negative self talk. I know depression comes in waves for me and sometimes it goes away entirely for months, but since Chuck's death the downward turn has been really bad. I feel like I need to appreciate every moment of my life and feel guilty when I don't. idk. Everything feels overwhelming.

I did have a very nice Christmas and I also got to see Mary Poppins Returns, which was sweet. It was Bear's first movie in the theatre and he loved it. His first movie ever was Mary Poppins, and he also acted in the stage show (as Michael), so it seemed fitting.

I'll be off the grid for the next few days, at a cabin without internet, so wherever you are I hope you have a happy new year. I love you all!

I am so fucking angry! I spent more than an hour composing a post which was a year in writing in review. I wanted to crosspost it. Apparently I don't have crossposting set up so it redirected me to a set up page for that and I can't get it back!!!!!!!!!!
